Rehearse in a setting designed to mirror the pace and setup of an Advanced Standing bench exam, with timed exercises that help exam day feel familiar. See our Bench Skills Guide for what to expect on exam day.
Pick up the handpiece, refine your technique, and try again. Each repeated preparation has a clear goal, so every attempt helps you build control and consistency.
Get clear, structured feedback on each preparation, including form, dimensions, finish, and clinical acceptability, so you know what to refine on your next attempt. Curious about clinical exposure? Learn more about the Observership Experience.
With a maximum of eight participants, each session stays focused, so guidance can address your technique and help you build steady consistency and control. For more exam tips, read Astra articles. New to the process? Start with our CAAPID Application Guide or the Advanced Standing Program Guide.
Eligible Astra participants may extend their experience with a complimentary two-week dental observership at Smile Now Dental Studio in Pasadena, observing digital imaging, CBCT, intraoral scanning, treatment planning, clear-aligner workflows, and daily practice operations.
